Efi Riro // Green Leaf Stew

  1. Empty 1 sachet of Instant Stew Base Mix in a bowl and reconstitute with 500 mls hot water

  2. Add Palm oil to saucepan and heat for 2 mins

  3. Carefully pour the reconstituted mix into the saucepan

  4. Add all of the spices and seasoning and stir. If you cook with tomato puree, add 2 TBSP. Otherwise, cooks for 5 mins over medium heat.

  5. Add the spinach and stir. If cooking with frozen spinach, cook for 7-10 mins. If preparing with fresh spinach, cook for 3 mins.

  6. Add pre-cooked meats and stock fish and stir

  7. Cook for a further 2 mins, stir and add salt to taste.
